Building Management Update-July 2020

July is off to a great start! A lot has been accomplished in a short period of time. Shout out to our amazing board members and committees for their help and invaluable input. We are so lucky to have committee members with such diverse knowledge and expertise. They have certainly put their specialized skills to good use.

A heartfelt thank you to all the residents who provided us with feedback on the Jenkins Baer renderings. Kudos to our design committee for their outstanding work. We can't wait to see the end result. We will keep you posted. 

Summer is in bloom! And so are the flowers on the patio! BrightView did a fantastic job. We are enjoying the new landscaping and we hope you are too.

We are getting it done! SRS is set up for the façade / leak investigation.  We will notify all residents a week in advance prior to the water testing portion of the investigation.  We expect this project to be completed in four months. We are trying to minimize the noise and inconvenience as much as possible. Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding. 

Things are looking up! Otis Elevator is set to start on the elevator door project July 29, 2020. Woohoo! We are making progress. The elevators are now two riders at a time. No worries for our lone riders. Just politely request to ride alone. Also, those about to ride, if there is already a passenger on board kindly ask if it is okay to share the elevator. You will notice instructional signage and stand here stickers have been placed in each elevator.

Extra sparkle! Our house keepers have really stepped up to the plate. They are knocking COVID-19 cleaning out of the park. The CDC would be proud. All surfaces are cleaned on a rotation schedule throughout the day, including but not limited to, elevator buttons, the top of the reception desk, doorknobs, inside and out of the washers, dryers, shopping carts and inside the elevator.

Watch out! You asked for it! The large capacity washer is coming back! We do not have an exact ETA just yet but project the installation to be completed by the end of July.

Planning to spread your wings and fly? We are currently in the process of getting FHA approved. We hope this helps with the sale of your home. We will miss you dearly.

Let's see those smiling eyes and not those smiling lips! Safety first! Wear a mask! Let's all do our part and kick COVID-19 to the curb. We owe it to ourselves and our neighbors to keep each other safe. You've probably noticed we have hand sanitizer and CDC literature in the lobby. Guess what else we have, that's right folks, masks! Masks are a must!
